Exercise is kicking my ass!
Okay I have officially pushed myself, but I'm so sore after just two days that I think I better take a day off from the exercise portion tomorrow. Maybe I'll just do the work bench stuff, and skip the walking and dancing.
I could barely walk this morning, and exercised anyhow, and could only tolerate half of yesterdays regimen so maybe I just need a day for the muscles to recoop. I'm not wimpin out, I don't think, I'm honestly in a lot of pain. I walk around here like a feeble 80 year old woman!

Day 2By the way, that is my daughter, she ran in and did the leg hug right as my husband was taking the picture hehe. Her name is Lily, she's 3 and is a tiny lil thing, only weighs 24 pounds (fully clothed)!
Wow, 4 pounds down, this is probably a combination of water weight, my period fluxing, the 2 solid hours of vigorous exercising yesterday, and my fat fast diet plan.
I am VERY curious to see what the scale says tomorrow morning. I drive up to Publix each morning to use the same scale so it's accurate.
The first day going into ketosis it is common to let go of water weight, but man, 4 pounds, wow. I wonder if the picture will look different.. we'll see, probably not yet! I'll take one tonight when my husband gets home, same clothes, same pose, same doorway.
:)
I just did 30 mins of dancing, my legs are really just going on E lately after yesterday so I couldn't do the hour, well I COULD have but I didn't, but now I'm off to go walk a solid hour with my daughter in a stroller.
Just got back, could only do 20 minutes without feeling just completely drained. I just got in the door and am lightheaded. Its hard to walk fast and push a stroller, it was far easier yesterday when it was just me.
I'll still do some reps on the workbench, try for 50, 50, and 100 this time, it only takes like 3 to 5 mins total so its easy and noncommittal.
Blah nauseous today. Eating only fat and coffee has that effect.

The Diet
Controversially, I am on what is called "The Fat Fast" originally developed by Dr. Keckwick, and modified by Dr. Atkins, its supposedly for "only the most metabolically resistant folks on Earth" yeah yeah yeah, I don't care, I am trying it, and I'm trying it longer than everyone says you're supposed to.
In the nutshell, you eat 5x 200 cal meals a day, the meals consisting of primarily fat and no carbs. Since I hate eating cream cheese, gobs of mayo, or macadamias - I'm just drinking coffee with heavy whipping cream in it and saying forget it to solid foods. I'm not following the normal diet to the tee, because I just have a coffee and cream when I want to, and even a bit of alcohol (0 carb) when it strikes my fancy. But, I'm trying to resist that part from now on.
Truth is, I'm just impatient and a brat, and I'm not suffering on this diet any longer than I have to, but if I HAVE to suffer at all, I'll go all out full-scale sufferage just to get it over with quicker.
If you're shaking your head and thinkin' 'poor girl, so dumb, gonna lose it and gain it back cause she don't know how to eat, has to use a fad diet instead of her brains and just eat right and exercise' - well don't worry, I do enjoy healthy foods, just don't want to wait 6 months to knock off these 50 pounds.
About me...
Hi!
My name is Lisa, I'm 36 years old, 190 pounds, and am happily married with four children. My kids range from 3 to 15 years old. I love making crafty items, and working from home.
My Hitting 140 blog is about me and my dieting plan and is here to give encouragement and also to make myself more accountable for my actions and hopefully, more apt to succeed.
I'm a complete food addict, alcohol addict, anything that makes me happy addict, and hate and refuse exercise. This has led me to 190.
But I'm trying to stop all that stuff, and get it right.
I have to add on to this, that I'm a binge eater. I will eat until sick, and then say Hmmmm.... what can I eat now, just to get that little food high you get where you associate emotion to eat bite. The emotion being extreme joy and happiness (until the food is gone of course).

Day 1
My stats:
Starting weight: 190 pounds
Weight today: 190 pounds
Goal: 140 pounds
Today is going great, its day 1 of my 28 day starting cycle.
Added note: I look like a weeble wobble :(
To understand my diet, you can view the blog section called "The Diet", or the about me section for boring stuff on me.

Today, for exercise I did 1 solid hour of dancing, where I stayed in constant fast motion. Almost like rave dancing, essentially jumping up and down all over the place, waving my arms around like a lunatic.
I worked out for a few minutes on my sons weight bench, I leg lifted 20 lbs, 100 times - did the normal weight lifting with my arms (30 lbs) 30 times, and did the arm scrunches (booby builders or whatever you call 'em) 30 lbs, 30 times. I wanted 100 across the board but wasn't strong enough to do more than 30 each on the arms.
I walked for 45 minutes today, I am guessing about 2 miles. When I got back, I honestly felt awful. Dizzy, nauseous, and my legs were like rubber. I'm very out of shape and I may be doing too much too soon, maybe tomorrow I'll walk slower pace.
I did great on the food front, just coffee and heavy whipping cream throughout the day. I slipped up and had two shots of alcohol, but I'll try and do better tomorrow on that front. It's almost midnight, and I feel alright. Not hungry at all, though my legs feel messed up.
Eating plan after the fat fast...
Many will undoubtedly tell me I shouldn't diet like this, I'll gain it all back yada yada yada - nah, I won't, I have my "for life" way of eating already planned out, and was actually following that before I started this out of impatience.
If and when I'm hungry at breakfast, I enjoy 1 slice of wholewheat bread (or two if I wanted a full sandwich) toasted, with 1/2 piece of cheese set atop, then the egg set on the cheese to melt it. Then I add a slice of tomato and onion, heavily salt, and munch away.
The calories for the breakfast with 1 bread and 1/2 piece cheese is 50 for the bread, 30 for the cheese, 30 for the egg, and 20 for the onion/tomato for a total of 130 ~ or the full sandwich is 100 for the bread, 60 for a full slice of Velveeta cheese, 30 for the egg, and 20 for the veggies for a total of 210.
For lunch I eat a ham sandwich *or* another egg sandwich and my hot tomato concoction. About 200 cals.
For dinner, we eat a ham sandwich (150 max calories) and me and my husband split a soup (average 100 cals on the soup), a pickle (10 cals), and have a side of grapes (50 cals?). Either way you slice it, it isn't overboard and it's fairly healthy.
I'm a snacker. I have a bad addiction to eating 24/7 so I snack on my tomato concoction, which is just a can of habanero Rotel hot tomatoes, a can of large diced tomatoes, and 1/2 sauteed onion cut up. The whole thing makes a days worth of snacking anytime I want to and is only about 350 cals for the whole thing. I do add 1 tsp of light butter to each bowl before I nuke it, so that adds 20 cals per serving. BUT, better than a frozen pizza, or something else.
So essentially breakfast averages 200, lunch 200, and dinner 300 and then I make the 300 tomato cal snack to munch on though out the day for a total of around 1000 - 1200.
